Hard Rock, Snowdonia
~ Wednesday, 17th June 2009We had some fantastic weather here last week, clear skies, a light breeze and more importantly dry rock.
I spent the week working on a Performance Rock Clinic for Plas y Brenin with James McHaffie and four strong climbers. The group were all comfortable on Very Severe and were focused on breaking some barriers and reaching the next level, if not harder!
We climbed at Tremadog, Dinorwic Slate Quarries, Gogarth, and in the Llanberis Pass. The group made successful leads of such classics as Merlin Direct, Scratch Arete, King Bee Crack, Gogarth, Spectre and Cemetery Gates.
A great week of rock climbing.
