Isle of Arran

The Isle of Arran was the venue of choice for my Mum to celebrate a recent birthday.
Joined by many friends and ramblers from the Penrith club we had a fantastic weekend of walking and sight seeing.
This photo was taken on Sunday afternoon on the windy summit of Goatfell. The surrounding ridges provide not only great views, but superb walking and scrambling, some of which is quite technical. A great weekend!
